Thank you to Mr Babalou. Very worthwhile procedure as I now have baseline measurements, including CIMT, for future reference and the report and images to forward to my NHS Consultant. I have had two previous carotid artery Ultrasound scans in 2021 and 2024 with an NHS provider but I specifically wanted to know if there had been any progression of atherosclerotic plaque. Unfortunately this was not possible as measurements were not on the NHS reports and both NHS reports just stated ‘less than 50% “ narrowing. The NHS does not routinely measure CIMT. The report and images were available to download the next day. Highly recommended for anyone who would rather be aware and take active measures to reduce the risk of stroke. The report actually reduced my anxiety. ~ Susan Z

I had an excellent experience choosing this center. The secretary was very efficient in suggesting available appointment times and arranging a schedule that suited me perfectly. Additionally, she provided excellent guidance on which ultrasound would be most appropriate for my condition, for which I am truly grateful. Her attention to patients, patience, and care in scheduling my appointment was remarkable, and I deeply appreciate her effort. Furthermore, her clear communication and guidance helped me feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the process. I would also like to express my gratitude to the doctor, whose exceptional knowledge and skills made me feel at ease during the check-up. I attended Banstead this morning as breast check at gp left me in doubt despite reassurances all was ok. I had tenderness under arm and was told to go back in 4 weeks if no improvement and they would refer me for tests. Too long to wait with worries and doubt. Was able to choose from several appointmrnts over weekend and got appt for a sunday morning at 9am (2 days after gp visit). It wasn't cheap but peace of mind is priceless and following ultrasound was told there and then all ok. Receptionist friendly and Mrs Elham Keshararz was very professional and reassuring. The best money I have ever spent to get such a good service so quickly and put my mind at rest. Report and images received same day. Will definitely use again. ~ Sharon B

Today 29/3/2024 , I was to check The Condition of Prostate gland in Clinic Phoenix Ultrasound I London EC1N 7UU. QUICK ,Easy and politely help Receptionist to make a Visit on the same day early in the morning . The Clinic is comfortable and easy place to visit -2 mjn walk from Tube Station Chancery Lane. At The Appointed hour , I meet Receptionist and after a quick filling Form ,I was in Doctors Office New and Top Medical Equipment for Review Prostate. Politely and competently explained to me whole Review Prostate. All passed quickly and pleasantly. My worries disappeared immediately. The result I received on my mobile in hour time. I went to Phoenix ultrasound for an assurance scan after experiencing anxiety at 16.5 week pregnant following successful IVF treatment. The centre is very clean and easy to find. The reception staff are warm and welcoming. The Dr performing the scan was very empathetic, informative and professional. Not only did I come away with peace of mind, I also received a 4D scan image, a scan image keyring and a stuffed bunny containing a recording of the heartbeat :) I didn’t want to find out the gender without my partner present so they kindly wrote the result on the back of a scan image and placed in a sealed envelope so we could open together later at home. :) 11/10 recommend!!! ~ Jm G

I booked a breast ultrasound just yesterday for today and I must say I am really impressed with the service. I am heavily pregnant and had some concerns about lymph nodes. I communicated via WhatsApp Re the appt and received a reply promptly. Today, I parked right outside and was seen quickly. The sonographer took the time to explain to me the results of my scan and was very reassuring. I already have a copy of the results emailed to me. I was also given a free keepsake heartbeat teddy bear which was wonderful, particularly as I wasn't even there for a pregnancy scan. I don't normally take the time to leave a review but I am a very happy customer. ~ Rebecca S

Today I had breasts scan at Phoenix as I noticed some discharge from one of them. I was able to book the last available slot on the same day and was seen by doctor Babalou. My experience is nothing but superb! The doctor is a calm and kind person. He checked everything on the scan and to give me additional peace of mind used second machine (called Elastograph -needleless biopsy) to check and show me the density of parts that may be worring on a regular scan. It was amazing. It was my first time in this clinic but definitelly not the last one! And the next time straight away Elastograph! Thank you! Justyna ~ Inga

This is probably the best purchase I have made for many years, this not only gave me peace of mind and assurance that my health is better than I thought, but the professionalism and quality of care both the Nurse and DR showed me was absolutely amazing ! I opted for the male full body ultrasound and I was given such a good insight into my body, what was good, what wasn’t as good. I mean, hey who can say they know what their carotid arteries blood velocity is !!?? Not only that but it was nice to spend some time talking through things without being rushed. Outstanding! I was so worried about doing a scan but all staff working at Phoenix Scans are truly exceptional. The radiographer was amazing, he did anything he could to make me feel at ease and while he was explaining to me my tests results I have also realized he really loves his job, he really gives a 100%. Reception staff was also incredibly kind and professional. These people are truly good, they really love their job and I got my results much earlier than expected. Excellent service from Phoenix Ultrasound. The online booking process was straightforward. I arrived early and they took the effort to fit me in early. Gwen Williams, the sonographer, first discussed the issue of a lump above my knee with me, and then proceeded with a comprehensive scan. She was very friendly, and seemed very competent and experienced. She gave me a verbal, reassuring, report immediately, and within the hour I received her written report with images on my phone, for sharing with my GP. I can recommend them, and will use them in future for follow up scans. ~ Eddie T

This was a beautiful experience given to me as a gift! It was the best gift to ever be given. The place is clean and well kept, there is a fountain with cold water upon arrival, and there is lovely and friendly staff!! The doctor was very helpful and patient, and the service was on point! I was seen to right away with no waiting time even though I arrived slightly late due to traffic. The only thing I would let you know is that there is little free parking around, so we ended up paying just a little bit for parking. The place itself is highly recommended by myself and my husband! My wife has had several experiences with ultrasound clinics and cannot say enough superlatives for Phoenix ultrasound. The sonographer was absolutely lovely and very professional. She was extremely informative and very understanding. My wife had 2 reassurances scans here and will be coming back for our 16 week scan and can't recommend enough. Service is excellent and the pictures, videos and 3D scans are brilliant, especially putting one of our pics into a frame. Nice touch. Everyone we encountered were friendly and professional. I went with my wife for her breast and axilla ultrasound at Phoenix Ultrasound and we had a really good experience. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, which helped her feel more at ease. I cannot rate Phoenix Ultrasound highly enough. There is a good reason why there are so many good reviews. I visited the clinic in Portpool Lane. My clinician Mr Babalou was thoroughly knowledgeable and professional. He is one of the nicest people you will ever wish to meet. Often when I go to London, people can be very cold but Mr Babalou was the opposite. He made me feel at ease and took the time to slowly go through my results. I left feeling genuinely cared for. Highly recommended. It was simple to make a next day appointment, no referral required, and no waiting around once I arrived there. The staff did a great job of making the whole process as comfortable as possible. Mr Babalou explained everything very clearly as he did it, and talked me through the results at the end. Yesturday I had a scan at Phoenix so that we could bring our little boy to see baby as he's very excited!! The staff are so welcoming and friendly espically to my little boy. The scan was amazing everything was explained so clearly, my little boy absolutely loved hearing baby's heartbeat. We also got to see baby in 4D and I'm just amazed at how clear it was. We was sent home with a keyring, photos and a photo in a frame as well as all photos online! Thank you for making it so special espically for my little boy!! I highly reccommend. ~ Alice G

After window to the womb cancelled our appointment 5 mins before, we struggled to find anywhere with availability on a weekend. I found phoenix ultrasound on Google maps and realised it was closer to my home. They managed to fit us in within the hour. The sonographer was lovely she explained so much to us in detail, she took her time and I felt very relaxed. All the staff members were very helpful and polite. This is probably the best experience I've had with any medical practice or service within the UK (private or NHS). Got an appointment within 24 hours, the secretary answered all my questions and helped me book the right appointment for me, my sonogropher Ali was extremely helpful and went above and beyond, he made sure everything was scanned that could be the cause of my issues, even though it may not have been included in what I paid for. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely go again if I need an ultrasound. ~ Jacob B

I came here today for a ultrasound on my breast after a gp had seen me and referred me to the two week wait screening for “suspected breast cancer” 2 weeks seems a incredibly long time when you get told they suspect cancer. Not only am I so relieved to say I have cysts, I want to thank the staff at Banstead for their care, respect and professionalism. I was seen on time (the next day after booking!) and they were the first place to say they would see me being under 40years old! ~ Olivia &

I was keen to find out if the pain in my left leg was due to poor circulation. Thanks to the advanced ultrasound equipment used and his expert knowledge, the ultrasound specialist was able to assure me that my pain was not due to poor circulation. This has taken a load off my mind and enabled me to concentrate on looking for other possible causes of the pain (muscular, arthritis, etc). Not enough words to describe the positive experience I had at the clinic today… after a night of worry and booking a appointment on the day I was seen, I was immediately put at ease the minute we walked in… the staff were professional, friendly and the scan was painless.
