Thank you to Mr Babalou. Very worthwhile procedure as I now have baseline measurements, including CIMT, for future reference and the report and images to forward to my NHS Consultant. I have had two previous carotid artery Ultrasound scans in 2021 and 2024 with an NHS provider but I specifically wanted to know if there had been any progression of atherosclerotic plaque. Unfortunately this was not possible as measurements were not on the NHS reports and both NHS reports just stated ‘less than 50% “ narrowing. The NHS does not routinely measure CIMT. The report and images were available to download the next day. Highly recommended for anyone who would rather be aware and take active measures to reduce the risk of stroke. The report actually reduced my anxiety. ~ Susan Z
